Des Wood and I are co-leading a beautiful yoga retreat for healthcare providers this March 6th - March 10th, 2023. This retreat is the perfect time to go with your nurse friends and get pampered in Sayulita, Mexico. We promise you, this will absolutely be worth it!

We will have a daily meditation and yoga program as well as a personal chef, accommodations at the state of the art brand new private, sleek and sexy construction (Nico Sayulita by Hybrid Architecture) with ocean views, two pools and within walking distance to the beach and the plaza.

Space will be limited to 10 people (based on double occupancy) so get your spot before spaces fill up!  All participants will be tested and vaccinated for Covid-19 so it will be a Covid safe venture!

Why Sayulita? 

Sayulita started as a small fishing village and now it is more well known as a surfing town.  It resides on the Pacific Ocean, 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta.  It's a cool, hip and idyllic place.  You can certainly find the opportunity to relax and unwind or find nightlife if that is what you are looking for..

Who are the co-leaders?

Nicole Johnson, BSN, RN, CCRN, CEP is the founder of Unwound Retreats. UR aims to provide opportunities for nurses and healthcare providers a space to practice much needed self care and travel together.   She is also the host and producer of the nursing podcast, Found Down.
Nicole is an ICU nurse at a major academic hospital in Seattle, WA with over 14 years in critical care. 

Des Wood, DNP, ARNP, AGPNCP-BC, CCRN is a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years in the ICU. Des is also a licensed yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga for over a decade.  Des teaches vinyasa flow with opportunities to heat up the body, stretch and cool down with yummy, meditative shavasana.  She also co-owns her business Seattle Beauty, a medi-spa in Seattle with a a mindful approach to aesthetics.
